At Sampson Regional Medical Center’s Outpatient Diagnostics Center, we offer advanced imaging technology to provide your patients with high-quality diagnostic services.  Our radiologists, nurses, technologists, and administrative staff are committed to providing precise and timely diagnostic services in a professional and welcoming environment for each of your patients.  Our Outpatient Diagnostics Center also offers a Women’s Center dedicated entirely to women’s radiology services.

Imaging Services

Computerized Tomography (CT) - Two Locations (Outpatient Diagnostics Center & SampsonRMC)

  • 64 Slice
  • Low Dose
  • Accommodates patients up to 440 lbs.
  • Appt. Times: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (both locations)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

  • 1.5 High Resolution
  • Large Open Bore
  • Accommodates patients up to 550 lbs.
  • Appt. Times: Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m.-4:15 p.m. 

Nuclear Medicine - Two Locations (Outpatient Diagnostics Center &SampsonRMC)

  • Gastrointestinal, Cardiac, Breast, Skeletal, Stress Test, Bone Scan, Ceretec White Blood Cell 
  • Accommodates patients up to 390 lbs.
  • Appt. Times: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Mammography

  • 3-D Mammography, Self-Referring Annual Screening, Diagnostic
  • Appt. Times:  Monday-Friday, 8:20 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Ultrasound - Two Locations (Outpatient Diagnostics Center & SampsonRMC)

  • Diagnostic 
  • Appt Times:  Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (ODC)  &
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (Hospital)

X-Ray - Two Locations (Outpatient Diagnostics Center & SampsonRMC)

  • Walk-ins welcomed
  • Accommodates patients up to 500 lbs.

Fluoroscopy

  • Appt Times:  Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Laboratory Services
Our QuickDraw Center is staffed and serviced by SampsonRMC’s Laboratory.  No appointment is required for lab draws.  This location is also home to SampsonRMC’s Blood Donor Center.
