Sampson Regional Physician/Provider Opportunities

Our Community & Hospital

We are a 146-bed community hospital, located in Clinton, N.C. Hospital services include acute care, outpatient surgery, emergency medicine, and intensive care. Our specialties include general surgery, internal medicine, OB-GYN, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, and urology. Hospital outpatient services include rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services. 

Sampson County offers local arts, theaters, museums, historic sites, and outdoor recreation, but when you want to get away, you can enjoy easy access to other attractions. Sampson County is convenient to major interstates I-95 & I-40, with less than an hour’s drive to The Triangle, airports, or universities. Enjoy a day trip to some of North Carolina’s sandy beaches, which are only an hour away, or shop and dine in any number of nearby cities. In half a day’s drive, you can enjoy a weekend getaway to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains or many of our pristine North Carolina beaches. We’re perfectly situated to provide you the comforts of small-town life, as well as access to big-city living.

We are currently seeking an American Board of Emergency Medicine certified candidate comfortable with solo provider coverage. Single physician with two mid-level split coverage, 12-hour shifts, with 34,000 annual visits. Full-Time (10-12 shifts per month) Night Physician and Mixed Night/Day shifts vacancies. We are currently seeking a full-time qualified physician assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team. ER experience is a must. We are currently seeking a qualified Family Medicine Physician for our hospital-owned practice (Sampson Medical Group) and GME program. Qualified candidates should have both inpatient and outpatient experience and be comfortable with joint injections, dermatology procedures, and OMT. Call will be required once every 6 weekends. We are currently seeking a full-time CRNA comfortable working in collaboration with and under the medical direction of a staff anesthesiologist, providing quality care utilizing the team approach, providing anesthesia services to patients in accordance with SampsonRMC’s policies and procedures, and practicing within professional anesthesia standards and in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act. Additional CRNA responsibilities include maintaining clinical and professional competency, providing individualized, age specific care, and administering intravenous, general and regional anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures and in obstetric deliveries or other medical procedures.

We are currently seeking a qualified Board-Certified Physician (DO or MD) to join our Family Medicine Residency Faculty as Associate Program Director. Join the mission to educate and prepare community-based physicians to care for rural populations while also providing outpatient care in our hospital-owned practice, Sampson Medical Group.
